All work carried out by the Contractor is subject to the following Terms & Conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By accepting our quotation, estimate, invoice, or by allowing works to commence, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
The quotation provided is based only on the visible and accessible parts of the installation at the time of inspection.
Any additional works discovered during installation, testing, fault finding, or dismantling may be charged separately.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, quotations do not include:
Whilst all reasonable care will be taken, the Contractor shall not be held responsible for damage to walls, ceilings, floors, tiles, decorations, plasterwork, flooring, boxing, cupboards, or other building finishes arising as a result of:
The Client acknowledges that some disturbance or damage may be unavoidable during electrical works, particularly in older installations.
Any making good, plastering, decorating, flooring repairs, or cosmetic reinstatement is excluded unless specifically agreed in writing.
The Contractor cannot guarantee the condition or continued operation of any existing electrical installation, wiring, accessories, appliances, or equipment not installed by the Contractor.
Older installations may contain pre-existing faults, deteriorated insulation, borrowed neutrals, shared circuits, incorrect connections, high earth leakage, or other hidden defects which may only become apparent during testing or after installation of new protective devices.
Where a consumer unit is replaced or where RCDs, RCBOs, AFDDs, or other modern protective devices are installed, additional faults within the existing installation may become apparent.
The Client acknowledges that modern protection devices are significantly more sensitive than older fuse boards or protective equipment.
If any circuit, accessory, appliance, or equipment causes nuisance tripping, failure, or operation of protective devices after installation, additional investigation and remedial works may be required.
Such additional works are not included within the original quotation and will be chargeable separately.
The Contractor shall not be held responsible for pre-existing faults or defects revealed as a result of upgrading the installation to current standards.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) reflects the condition of the installation only at the time of inspection and testing.
Testing is carried out on accessible areas only.
The Contractor cannot guarantee future performance or continued compliance after the inspection date.
Any limitations encountered during the inspection will be recorded within the report.
Electrical works may require temporary isolation of electrical supplies.

The Client is responsible for ensuring sensitive equipment is safely shut down before works commence.

The Contractor reserves the right to suspend works or certification until payment has been received.
Electrical certificates, reports, and documentation will only be issued once full payment has been received.
The Contractor’s liability is limited to the value of the works carried out.
The Contractor shall not be liable for:
